- Change from an hourly rate model to a flat rate one. Unless you’re fine with giving free consulting services.
- Sometimes, being on a retainer can mean too much work. What’s the opposite? Sometimes, the paycheck train not making stops at your station. Yea, I’ll stick with retainers.
- When should I invoice clients? What payment periods do I allow? Maybe, I’ll treat each one depending on how they make me feel. Argh! Chaos gods take me now! Or…be clear, consistent and insistent with payment terms.
